What is Key Club?
Key Club is an student-led organization making the world a better place through service.
Built upon service, Key Club members around the world are given the opportunity to stand up for what's right by volunteering in their communities. Members can learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district, and international levels.
Caring – Our way of Life
Through Key Club’s work in the home, school, and community, Key Club members have learned that their organization is built around the concept of caring. With this concept as the foundation of the organization, Key Club will continue to be an effective and contributing organization in our schools and communities.
Our Pledge
I pledge, on my honor
to uphold the Objects of Key Club International;
to build my home, school and community;
to serve my nation and world;
and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.
CORE VALUES:
Leadership
Character Building
Caring
Inclusiveness

Glenwood High School Key Club
Serving the community since 1988
Glenwood High School Key Club has been serving the Chatham and Springfield communities for over 30 years now. As Key Clubbers and contributing members of our community, we have taken the initiative to start and take part in service projects, fundraisers, and activities that help others.
Past Projects & Events

Trick-or-Treat Drive-Thru
On October 29, Key Club hosted a trick-or-treating event at the high school. Our members passed out candy and accepted optional donations. The donations were given to UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund).

Yellow Tulip Project
Our Key Club currently has a Hope Garden for the Yellow Tulip Project, an organization focused on smashing the stigma that surrounds mental illness. The purpose of this Hope Garden is to raise awareness and encourage open-minded discussions about mental health. We planted tulips for our Hope Garden in March!

Tagging Carnations
On February 11, 2024, our Key Club tagged carnations that were to be delivered on the 12th. They were sold from Feb 2-7 and Feb 10-11 to raise money for the Thirst Project!
