President

The primary jobs of the president's position is to run club meetings, create club activities and service projects, and maintaining communication between the club's board and the lieutenant governor. The president is also included and consulted with about every decision made by the Key Club. It requires a great deal of time and energy. The job has many responsibilities and strict deadlines. Vice President

The main focus of the vice president is supporting the president, organizing committees and assisting with whatever else the club needs. This might include helping to plan and run meetings, recruit members or host a service project. Another focus is  assigning committee chairs and helping each committee create goals and directives. The role of the vice president is more flexible when it comes to the tasks you can do to help the club and does not have a great many deadlines. The position still requires a good deal of time and energy. The Key Club International vice president guide suggests a vice president should be supportive, reliable, a delegator, a good multi-tasker, and an advocate. Statistical Secretary

The job of the statistical secretary is to do more behind the scene things that keep the club running. They are in charge of the monthly report forms, recording student hours, and creating a membership log. This job requires more work than the reporting secretary but has more flexible deadlines. The Key Club International secretary guide suggests a secretary be organized, good with group work, good with communication, and be good at lifting people up. Reporting Secretary

The role of the reporting secretary is one that is more seen. They are in charge of keep track of everything that happens during meetings. They take attendance, take notes about what is said, then post those notes on google classroom for people who were not present at the meetings to read. This job requires less work than statical secretary but has stricter deadlines. Treasurer

The job of the treasurer is to ensure that the Membership Update Center is always current, set the year’s budget and help your club raise money for international and district-specific causes. The treasurer also helps with the yearly membership dues. This job requires a lot of time and energy. Communications Officer

The job of the communications officer is to get in and stay in touch with our community. The communications officer is in charge of sending out emails to the community about possible service projects, posting on social media, and maintaining the official key club email. This job is more broad and does not have many strict deadlines. It does require time and energy. A communication officer should be outgoing, creative, good with teamwork, and good with communication.

Webmaster

The main focus of the webmaster is to create and maintain a club website, engage with your members online, and use online resources to recruit members. The webmaster updates the clubs website with any new and important information. This job requires weekly work to update the website. Class Representative (9, 10, 11, 12)

The job of the class representatives is to make sure their class is heard. The class representative is one of the main lines of communication between the general members and the board. They will make service suggests, give feedback from the general members, and help with planning/organizing service projects. This role is very flexible and does not come with strict deadlines. This position still require time and energy.

Teacher Advisor

The teacher advisor helps guide a club. They offer help and support when needed and help to organize volunteer opportunities within and out of the school. Find more information here: Key Club International Official Advisor Guide.

District Lieutenant Governor 

The Lieutenant Governor (a.k.a. LTG) of each district is in charge of making sure that each club in the district is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They are the main communication line between each club and the state board. They help to ensure that each clubs board turns in their monthly report forms as well as other important forms.
